Welcome to the country. Out here things are slower and freer and simpler and wilder, but only if you allow them to be that way. We all have the choice each day of how we choose to live and learn and grow. (Yes, it is a choice.) This way is our choice.
Is it the easiest way? No.
Is it the most popular way? No.
Do we have a clue what we are doing? Most of the time, no.
Are we learning as we go? Absolutely!
Will we get to where we want to be? You bet.
Is it the most rewarding way? We think so.
We are headed in the direction of a cleaner, slower, healthier way of life. A way where we know where most of our food comes from, a way that helps us connect back to our roots, the way our ancestors lived (with a modern twist), a way that allows us to see that God has always and will always provide the things we need is the way we are striving for.
We encourage you to join us on this journey as we learn how to navigate this way of life. We’ll learn what works and what doesn’t work. Come along as we find out what we know and what we need to know and what we didn’t even know we needed to know.
